High-Fidelity Numerical Modeling and Simulations

DSMC and CFD simulations are generally performed to accurately simulate rarefied and hypersonic continuum flows. However, the validity of these methods is limited to only certain flow regimes and altitudes. In the current work, a brief review on the range of usage of such methods will be discussed thoroughly.
